Bio

As the Assistant Coordinator of the Digitization Lab, Rick oversees and directs the operations of the Digitization Lab to digitize special collections materials for digital preservation and for the digital collections that enhance access to the Libraries' special collections.

His role includes responsibility for all daily lab operations, workflows, and activities; oversight of production for concurrent projects; and working with the Director of Digital Collections and Digitization in developing procedures, designing new workflows, and identifying and testing tools and software to increase the Lab's capabilities to address current and new needs.

Rick joined OU Libraries in 2012. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the University of Oklahoma. He is a member of OU Libraries' Student Supervisors Roundtable and served on OU Libraries' Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force.
